Special
thanks to Gail Allen and Kathy Morris. Gail has provided editorial
comment on my books for many years, and Kathy has designed
and maintained my Web site. I am so appreciative of what these
ladies do to help me.
As
in past years, I am thankful for the people who either shared
their designs with me or suggested potential designs. They
include: Arlina Adriano (Adriano Earrings), Jo Dresden (Hammered
Ring), Otto Glass (Dogwood Earrings and Braided Bracelet with
a Twist), Carolyn Helms-Meyer (Sculptured Earrings), Sue Rowand
(Classic Bracelet), Sandy Russell (Three-Bead Ring), Gene
Sheridan (Change-a-Cab Bracelet), and Alice Turner (Floating
Stone Bracelet).
Two
of the designs were first included in my Exclusively Prongs
book (Pronged Bracelet and Pronged Earrings). Other designs
in the book are either mine, or they are based on classical
or commercial jewelry pieces. However, all of the procedures
in this book were written and illustrated by me, and the techniques
described are ones I use in making jewelry. .
Many
students in my classes last year tested draft versions of
these procedures. I appreciate their many helpful comments
and suggestions.
